He received a very impressive external rating at his licensing in KWPN and received the following remarks after completing the 50-day test in Ermelo:

Kingston is an honest and reliable stallion with great impetus and an excellent attitude. The stallion is very cooperative and welcomes the rider’s helpers. His walk is rhythmical, active and capacious. The stallion’s trot has good mechanics and capaciousness with active, ambling gaits of the hind legs and carriage. His canter is powerful, uphill, capacious and has good carriage. Kingston moves very quickly with great agility and extremely good posture and balance. Kingston has a lot of talent as a dressage horse and provides his rider with a good feeling.

Furthermore, KWPN's breeding conclusion reads as follows: Kingston is expected to provide the dressage horse breeding model with charisma, quality of movement, rideability and work posture.

Kingston was born in April 2015 and is by Edward Gall's great hope for the future, Totilas, who is the son of Glock’s Toto Jr. In their heyday, Edward Gal and Totilas were unbeatable in international dressage and were winners of both the European Championships and WEG. The son, Glock's Toto Jr., won the Pavo Cup as a 5-year-old and three sons from his first crop of foals were licensed, one of these was Kingston.

Kingston’s dam is the elite mare Arina by Cabochon’s son Turbo Magic, who has enjoyed a dressage carrier in the USA. Arina is also the dam of a Z dressage horse by Houstoun and her dam, Sarina, is the dam of the AES licensed stallion Griffin by United. The mare line is behind a multitude of competition horses.

The third and fourth generations can be traced to riding horse producers as significant as Flemmingh and Nabuur.
