KWPN | BLACK | 2016 | 167 CM

  • A very interesting young stallion by the Dutch hope Govenor.
  • A stallion with super type, fantastic expression and three very good gaits.
  • A strong dam line with Grand Prix horses in dressage as well as show jumping.
  • Through the stallions Rousseau and Krack C he holds some of the best Dutch lines.

We are proud of the fact that we are able to offer this extremely interesting young stallion this year. Leandor possesses all of the qualities that a dressage horse can have. A nice exterior, three good gaits, a fantastic temperament and a great love of exercise.

His sire is the new shooting star Govenor by Totilas. His dam is full sister to none other than the fantastic Parzival who, under Adelinde Cornelisen, was among the absolute best in the world for several years. Governor has been one of the most frequently used Dutch stallions in recent years. He was also well represented by his first crop at the KWPN licensing in 's-Hertogenbosch, where he was the sire to the champion stallion Kremling MD. He also won silver medals at the WCYH as both a 6-year-old and 7-year-old. He recently won the St. George with a score of over 75%.

His dam, the elite mare Amira B by Rousseau, has delivered seven foals in a row, of which the two eldest participate in “minor tour” competitions. We have had very good experiences here at Blue Hors with Rousseau, as he is the sire to our top horse Blue Hors Zack. In addition to Jack, Rousseau has also sired several licensed stallions, including Ampére, as well as several international Grand Prix horses such as Zanzibar, Zamacho Z, Zidane, Zeta, Zodiac MW, Zippo and Fiorano.

The third generation included Krack C, who apart from competing at international level with Anky van Grunsven, was also a very successful breeding stallion. He sired over 30 Grand Prix horses, which is unheard of. There have been a great many licensed sons in addition to this, of whom Vivaldi, Trento B, Tuschinski, United and Zhivago are the most well-known. The Leandor dam line has produced the Grand Prix horse Obelisk by Feiner Stern and the “minor tour” horse Ravel by Kennedy.
